Job summary

TD in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a z/OS Connect Systems Programmer to join the Mainframe & Database Services group. You will support IBM z/OS Connect and IMS, and work across IMS/DB2/CICS/WAS z/OS environments to design, build, test and deploy mainframe systems.

The role requires 5–10 years of mainframe experience, knowledge of SMP/E, Omegamon, System Automation, and COBOL/Assembler as assets. The position involves off-hours on-call support and is based on-site in Toronto.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Mainframe system or application experience.
• Fundamental understanding of IBM Mainframe and z/OS.
• Knowledge of SMP/E and z/OS tools is preferred.
• Experience with COBOL/Assembler is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain z/OS Connect and IMS infrastructure on the z/OS platform.
• Support z/OS Connect and IMS related products and teams.
• Provide on-call support on a 24/7 rotating basis.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects and developers on IMS/DB2/CICS/WAS z/OS.
