Connecting Finance Leaders with Opportunities to Thrive and Drive Success

Position : Senior Content Strategist – Investment Marketing

Reporting Line : Head of Marketing

Overview

We’re hiring a seasoned content professional to join our marketing team and help shape how we communicate our investment expertise to financial advisors nationwide. This is a high-impact role suited for someone with a deep understanding of the investment space—especially mutual funds, ETFs, and model portfolios—and a talent for crafting clear, engaging, and compliant messaging in a complex, regulated environment.

This role is based in Nashville and will work closely with both our sales organization and investment professionals. The Senior Content Strategist will report to the Head of Marketing, located in Santa Monica, and must be comfortable navigating cross-functional collaboration across time zones.

What You’ll Do

  • Create, revise, and refine a wide variety of materials such as advisor-facing content, market commentary, sales presentations, website copy, and educational tools.
  • Work hand-in-hand with investment experts, sales leaders, and marketing colleagues to ensure messaging is both technically accurate and aligned with what advisors need to hear.
  • Convert technical investment ideas into clear, differentiated messages tailored for financial advisors.
  • Manage the content review process to ensure all pieces meet FINRA and SEC requirements and incorporate compliance feedback accurately.
  • Contribute fresh ideas and improve existing messaging, with a collaborative mindset and a passion for clear communication.
  • Keep a close eye on industry language and competitor positioning to maintain a distinct and modern voice.
  • Maintain consistency and quick turnaround times across multiple platforms and touchpoints.
  • Bring a strong understanding of digital channels and how advisors engage with content in today’s environment.
  • Explore how to responsibly use AI tools to streamline content development and delivery within regulatory guardrails.

What You Bring

  • At least 7 years of writing experience in financial services, ideally with time spent at an investment management firm.
  • Solid knowledge of how investment products are structured and sold, and an understanding of how to tailor messages for different advisor types.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders across departments, from investment professionals to sales reps.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines for marketing and communications in the financial industry.
  • Comfort with emerging technologies, including AI-based content tools, and a desire to explore them with care and compliance in mind.
  • Familiarity with writing across formats—emails, websites, scripts, and beyond.
  • Sharp editorial judgment, a keen eye for tone and detail, and an ability to work quickly and clearly under tight timelines.
  • A problem-solving attitude and the ability to thrive in a performance-driven, agile environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Why You’ll Want to Join

This is a place for professionals who think strategically, act decisively, and care deeply about helping financial advisors succeed. We operate with focus and urgency and are dedicated to producing content that drives real value—for our team, our advisors, and their clients.
