Job summary

Figure3, an award-winning Toronto-based design firm, seeks a Senior Team Leader, Workplace. You will lead corporate projects, manage client relationships and guide design solutions from inception to completion, both on-site and in the office.

The role requires a university degree in interior design, 10+ years of experience, and a proven track record in managing teams and delivering workplace projects. Strong AutoCAD and design software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• University graduate in Interior Design or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in workplace design.
• Experience leading design projects and teams.
• Proven ability to present ideas to stakeholders.
• Active membership in industry associations.

Responsibilities

• Lead large accounts and complex projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate the team to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions.
• Communicate directly with clients to coordinate all aspects of projects.
• Provide guidance to team members with focus on efficiency and quality of work.
• Resolve project challenges to ensure deadlines are met at all phases.
• Oversee project coordination meetings and attend site meetings.
• Draft and manage project budgets and schedules (in Microsoft Project).
• Administrate complete CM and consultant RFP process when required.
• Guide the stipulated bid process when required.
• Manage the full contract administration process on assigned projects.
• Coordinate activities with external partners, vendors, architects, and engineers.
• Develop and deliver presentations for client meetings and internal initiatives.
• Leverage our strategic research process to achieve project goals.
• Build positive professional relationships with clients and industry partners.
• Improve internal processes, approach and tools within area of expertise.
• Identify areas of risk and resolve issues.
• Participate in business development initiatives such as project pitches.
