Job summary

Realign Llc in Montreal, QC is seeking a Windows Patching & Software Deployment Engineer to manage enterprise patching, deployment, and reporting. You will develop PowerShell scripts, automate patching tasks, and collaborate across infrastructure, security, and applications teams.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, SCCM/MECM experience, SSRS reporting, and ITIL-aligned processes. This is a hybrid position with a focus on reliability and compliance in a large-scale environment.

Qualifications

• Expert-level experience in Windows Server patching and software deployment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows Server operating systems.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
• Experience with SSRS and report generation.
• Strong technical documentation and authoring skills.
• Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment and manage critical production systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute enterprise-wide Windows Server patching and software deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows Server OS issues during incidents and production outages.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate patching, deployment, compliance tracking, and reporting.
• Monitor patch compliance and ensure adherence to organizational SLAs and security standards.
• Generate operational and compliance reports using SSRS and SQL queries.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to plan and implement patching activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
