Job summary

RBC in Mississauga is seeking a Will and Estate Advisor to support clients through the estate and legacy planning process. You will help families navigate complex decisions, guide heirs and beneficiaries, and present RBC products and solutions to meet current and future needs.

The role emphasizes relationship building, fiduciary duties, and coordinating with legal and trust professionals to ensure robust estate plans and ongoing review.

Qualifications

• Must have a law degree and be a member of the Law Society of British Columbia.
• Possess or working towards TEP designation.
• At least 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present an overall estate planning and review guide for agents, groups and individuals; educating them on relevant subtleties.
• Provide a process to inventory estate assets, clarify planning goals, needs and outcomes.
• Create, review, and update individual estate plans; provide ongoing recommendations to improve estate planning processes.
• Educate and help select appropriate estate planning instruments and interpret their pros/cons and applicability.
