Position Overview
The Wetlands Scientist and Permitting Specialist is responsible for developing EHS Support’s wetland and waterways capabilities and the delivery of technical reports or other regulatory submittals to report findings. They lead federal, state, and local regulatory permitting processes to obtain authorization for construction and environmental remediation activities that may impact wetlands, waterways, or other regulated natural resources. The Wetlands Scientist and Permitting Specialist will also provide technical support to projects focused on ecological risk assessment, sediment assessment and remediation, biodiversity and ecological services, Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA), and water quality compliance.
Specific Experience and Skills
Education and Licenses
Bachelors or Masters of Science degree in Science, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, or closely related field of study.
