Job summary

Onesubsea is seeking a Senior Well Engineer to provide technical leadership and engineering support for offshore drilling and well construction projects in Canada. You will contribute to well planning, performance analysis, and technology deployment across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires 5+ years of offshore drilling experience, deep knowledge of well design and delivery, and the ability to drive improvements in safety, efficiency and cost. This position is based in Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering is required.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills are essential.
• Experience in offshore drilling and well construction is required.
• Deep understanding of well design, drilling operations and optimization is needed.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and drive technical improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for drilling and well construction on offshore projects.
• Support well planning, performance analysis, and technology deployment.
• Lead risk assessments, technical reviews, and readiness activities.
• Ensure application of standards, best practices and lessons learned.
• Analyze drilling performance data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency gains.
• Develop recommendations to reduce costs and improve well delivery.
