Job summary

Mainstreet Credit Union in Sarnia is seeking a Senior Wealth Advisor/Financial Planner to deliver holistic financial planning and investment guidance to our member base. You will collaborate with retail and lending teams to drive wealth management opportunities and referrals.

Ideal candidates have a CFP/QAFP/PFP designation or CIRO INV licensing, with at least 5 years in financial planning and a strong investment product knowledge.

Qualifications

• CFP/QAFP/PFP designation required or licensable with CIRO INV division.
• Minimum 5 years in financial planning/investment sales.
• Strong knowledge of investment products and markets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic financial planning advice to existing and new members.
• Collaborate with branch network and lending to grow wealth management opportunities.
• Engage with community to grow Mainstreet's profile as a trusted advisor.
• Travel between branches to meet members and advance relationships.
• Maintain ethical standards and adhere to policies.
