Job Brief:
As a Senior Wealth Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth Gold Leaf clients, providing tailored financial strategies, and ensuring their wealth management needs are met with excellence. You will also play a crucial role in our investment committee, contributing your expertise to guide our firm’s investment strategies. Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth Gold Leaf clients.
- Understand clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences to provide personalized wealth management solutions.
- Conduct regular reviews and adjustments to clients’ portfolios to ensure alignment with their financial objectives.
Investment Committee Participation:
- Actively contribute to the Investment Committee, providing insights and recommendations on market trends, investment opportunities, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with other members of the Investment Committee to shape the firm’s overall investment strategy.
- Stay informed about macroeconomic trends, financial markets, and investment products to guide the committee’s decisions.
Business Development:
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the client base and increase assets under management.
- Network with potential clients, centres of influence, and industry professionals to build and grow the firm’s presence.
- Cross-sell Gold Leaf’s services, including insurance, group benefits, and other financial products.
Client Education and Communication:
- Educate clients on financial markets, investment products, and wealth management strategies.
- Prepare and present detailed financial plans, reports, and performance reviews to clients.
- Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and timely responses.
Skills/Qualifications:
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent designation is a strong asset.
- Licensing in securities and investment management (e.g., IIROC registration) is required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or portfolio management.
- Proven track record of managing high-net-worth client relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of investment products, portfolio management, and financial planning strategies.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, modelling, and performance reporting.
- Familiarity with financial software and platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Morningstar, or similar).
