Qualifications

  • 10+ Jahre Erfahrung in Wasserressourcen-Engineering, insbesondere in der Restaurierung.
  • Erfahrung mit natürlichem Kanaldesign und Oberflächenwassermanagement.

Responsibilities

  • Technische Leitung bei Projekten zur Wiederherstellung und Stabilisierung von Gewässern.

As a Senior Water Resources Engineer, you will join our Guelph, London, or Mississauga, Ontario office as part of our Eastern Surface Water Engineering team. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical leadership on stream restoration and stabilization projects.
  • Collaborating on river process projects, subwatershed studies, and environmental assessments.
  • Managing surface water projects involving hydraulic structures, bank protection, flood mitigation.
  • Reviewing and approving design drawings for restoration projects.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Working with regulatory agencies and clients to address challenges.
  • Building client relationships and stakeholder engagement.
  • Traveling within Ontario and to other locations as needed.
  • Participating in health and safety initiatives.
  • Contributing to the strategic growth of the team.

What We Are Looking For

  • Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
  • 10+ years in water resources engineering, especially in restoration and project management.
  • Experience with natural channel design, surface water management, geomorphology, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling.
  • Ability to assess infrastructure risks and develop repair/mitigation solutions.
  • Proficiency with HEC-RAS, PCSWM, and similar software.
  • Knowledge of Ontario regulations and legislation.
  • Strong project management and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Valid Class G driver’s license and clean record.
