Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical, environmental, water resources engineering
  • Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) membership in good standing
  • 10 years of experience in water engineering and project management, including 5 years of team management in project delivery
  • Master’s degree is an asset
  • PMP certification or related degree in engineering management is an asset
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team leaders, regional market leaders, service line leaders, and business group leaders to support water-related projects in Eastern Canada, across North America, and internationally
  • Build and mentor a team of water engineering professionals
  • Participate in business development, industry conferences and events, and the pursuit, acquisition, and delivery of projects
  • Foster collaboration across business groups and service lines to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Support the development of proposals to win targeted contracts
  • Manage and lead the delivery of technical projects, ensuring client satisfaction, safety, and compliance with scope, schedule, and budget
  • Travel occasionally for site visits and to meet with clients during the design and construction phases

Job description

  • Travel occasionally for site visits and to meet with clients during the design and construction phases
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical, environmental, water resources engineering, or a related discipline
  • Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Hold a valid ASP Construction card
  • 10 years of experience in water engineering and project management, including 5 years of team management experience in project delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop, mentor, and lead professional technical staff
  • Master’s degree in civil, chemical, environmental, water resources engineering, or a related discipline is an asset
  • PMP certification or a related degree in engineering management is an asset
