Job summary

Phoenix is seeking a Senior Video Editor to lead the quality and evolution of our post‑production across Phoenix and Raven. You will own the look, mentor editors, and develop workflows to produce high‑performing content at scale.

You’ll be hands‑on and a creative leader with deep understanding of engaging video for DTC, paid social, and UGC formats. Join our Toronto‑based, on‑site team to shape the future of our brand storytelling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience in DTC/e‑commerce or fast-paced agencies.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling and short‑form social content.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or reviewing work of other editors with clear feedback.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the overall editing style, visual storytelling, and post‑production standards across Phoenix and Raven brands.
• Lead, coach, and mentor the video editing team with clear direction and feedback.
• Review edits to ensure quality, brand consistency, and performance alignment.
• Develop editing guidelines, templates, and best practices for consistency and efficiency.
• Hands‑on editing of high‑performing video ads across Meta, TikTok, and other platforms.
• Collaborate with Creative Strategists and production teams to translate briefs into assets.
• Apply performance creative principles including hooks, pacing, and retention.
• Lead new editing styles and storytelling approaches to improve performance.
• Own the post‑production process from handoff to final delivery.
• Establish efficient workflows, file organization, and asset management.
