ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Vice President, Retail Operations (SVP Retail) is a key member of Sephora Canada's Operating Team. Reporting to the GM of Canada, you will drive retail sales and operational strategy, oversee retail stores and operations with a focus on omni-channel experience and real estate across Canada. You will provide overall business leadership, develop and implement Sephora Canada's retail growth strategy, and aim to increase store traffic, revenue, profitability, brand awareness, and customer experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop retail growth strategies aligned with company goals
  • Collaborate with the Canadian Operating Team on strategic direction
  • Implement operational best practices to support business success and enhance customer experience
  • Manage retail workforce (over 5,000 employees across 140+ stores) and profitability
  • Create strategic plans for sales growth, market expansion, and margin improvement
  • Lead operational activities through Regional Directors, District Managers, and teams
  • Support real estate and store opening strategies
  • Refine sales strategies to meet KPIs
  • Establish clear KPIs and foster team development through mentoring and succession planning
  • Build and lead a high-performing, motivated team
  • Maintain strong relationships with North American Retail organization to leverage resources and address Canada-specific needs
  • Travel frequently within Canada, the US, and internationally for market visits and collaborations
