Job summary

A global trading company is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for their Vessel Division in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in break-bulk vessel logistics, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage logistics processes efficiently. Responsibilities include coordinating daily activities between locations and ensuring timely shipments. The role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A competitive salary is offered, with a base pay ranging from CA$65,000 to CA$75,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in logistics for an international trade or shipping company.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, French proficiency is a preference.
• General knowledge about futures pricing and CBOT trade management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accurate daily activity between origination locations, ports, agencies and freight companies.
• Manage risks and opportunities during the logistics process.
• Participate in logistics projects and manage new initiatives.
