Job description

Amazon is looking for an experienced business leader to join the Hardlines category team on Amazon Canada. As Senior Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for managing the P&L and setting the strategic direction for a large and diverse Hardlines business. You will work with highly strategic vendors to drive their business towards the next phase of growth.

You will analyze data to identify key brands to target, build long-term relationships with key vendors, resolve operational, logistical, or business issues, and lead negotiations on Amazon’s behalf. This role demands strong leadership presence, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.

About the role: Senior Vendor Manager

As Senior Vendor Manager, you will manage the P&L for a significant Hardlines segment, thinking strategically and executing tactically to expand and grow the online business. You will integrate analysis and merchandising instincts into a cohesive category strategy, staying on top of industry and competitive trends to drive selection, sales, and margin growth while enhancing customer experience.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with inventory management, site merchandising, marketing, PR, finance, operations, and software development teams to deliver innovation and a better customer experience. You will manage multiple priorities, projects, and partner relationships simultaneously, leveraging strong analytical acumen, negotiation experience, and project management skills.
