YOUR IMPACT

OpenText’s global Source to Procure (S2P) team is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager– Supplier Risk, Diversity & Compliance to strengthen our supplier governance framework. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing our supplier risk management practices and ensuring compliance with evolving supplier diversity and regulatory requirements. You will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers, contributing to OpenText’s commitment to responsible procurement while building your expertise in third-party risk, compliance, and diversity initiatives.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

Supplier Risk Management
  • Develop, implement and enhance programs, standards, and tools to monitor, measure, analyze, and report on third party risk.
  • Lead and continuously improve the global supplier risk management framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Monitor supplier risk indicators, including financial health, geopolitical exposure, and operational vulnerabilities.
  • Assist internal teams with mitigating controls in their business units, as well as monitoring their action plans to address mitigation.
  • Identify trends in key risk indicators and monitor action plans to address.
  • Enhance processes for the review of supplier risk incidents, root cause identification, control and documentation.
  • Support the implementation, adoption, and compliance to company-wide supplier risk policies and processes.
  • Continue to research, recommend, and implement best practices in third party risk management
Supplier Diversity & Inclusion
  • Manage and enhance global supplier diversity programs, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
  • Report diversity spend to select customers and provide insights to leadership.
  • Promote inclusive sourcing practices and engage with diverse supplier networks.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
  • Ensure compliance with applicable supply chain regulations, standards, and corporate policies.
  • Stay informed of legal and regulatory developments impacting procurement and third-party risk.
  • Support regulatory reporting and audits related to procurement and vendor management.
Supplier Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance, transparency, and alignment with OpenText’s values.
  • Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve risk-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
Data & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate supplier records and risk documentation.
  • Prepare and present reports on supplier risk, diversity metrics, and compliance status to senior leadership.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive strategic initiatives.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Required:
·Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
·5+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain risk management.
·Strong understanding of third-party risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance.
·Proven ability to develop and implement supplier risk mitigation strategies.
·Experience working with diverse supplier networks and promoting inclusive sourcing.
·Excellent communication, and negotiation skills including excellent stakeholder relationship management and influencing skills with the ability to effectively and constructively challenges stakeholders to drive appropriate risk management outcomes.
·Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
·Strong organizational and analytical problem solving skills.
·Familiarity with procurement platforms and supplier management systems.
Preferred:
·Specialized training or certification in Third-Party Risk Management, Compliance, or Procurement (e.g., CTPRP, CRM, CPP).
·Experience in a global or highly regulated environment.
·Knowledge of industry-specific supply chain regulations and ESG standards.
