Job summary

Everguard Fire and Safety in Timmins, Ontario seeks an Experienced Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician to install, inspect, and maintain vehicle fire suppression systems across industrial sites. You will work on commercial, industrial, mining and institutional sites, ensuring safety and compliance with client specifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field experience in inspecting, testing, maintaining and/or installing vehicle fire suppression systems.
• Training in vehicle fire suppression systems such as Ansul, Amerex, Kidde, Dafo, Fogmaker or similar.
• Other fire service certifications are an asset.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting and validating vehicle fire suppression systems.
• Performing mechanical/electrical testing.
• Replacing, repairing and certifying components.
• Reading/interpreting drawings, specs and manuals.
• Evaluating customer needs and recommending solutions.
• Completing documentation and daily work reports.
• Mentoring junior team members.
• Participating in 24/7 on‑call rotation.
