Job summary

CS Group Canada is seeking a Senior V&V Test Engineer to validate autonomous vehicle systems and interfaces. You will develop tests, analyze results, and own technical validation across vehicle networks and software interfaces.

遠The role requires 8+ years in automotive or autonomous-system V&V, hands-on CAPL/CANoe, ROS2 experience, and strong Python/C++ scripting. Hybrid work in Montreal with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in automotive, embedded or autonomous-system V&V/testing.
• Bakes hands-on CAPL with CANoe/CANalyzer for test development.
• Strong ROS2 knowledge; familiarity with DDS and SOME/IP.
• Proficient in Python and C++ for test automation.
• Experience with SIL/HIL testing of distributed embedded systems.
• Ability to translate requirements into test scenarios.
• Capable of independent work and technical leadership.
• Knowledge of UDS diagnostics and ISO 26262 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test scripts using CAPL (CANoe) and ROS2.
• Validate autonomous truck features: perception, planning, control, MRM.
• Configure vehicle network simulations and test interfaces.
• Analyze results, logs and traces to identify issues and root cause.
• Develop fault-injection and robustness tests across SIL/HIL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements.
• Interface with customers and onboard additional V&V engineers.
