Thales Canada seeks a Senior UX/UI Designer to lead AI-enabled product design within multidisciplinary teams in Quebec City. The role combines user research, wireframes, prototypes and workshops to create human-centered experiences that balance user needs with business goals.
You will define visions for complex systems, ensure quality and feasibility, and apply ethical AI design principles across projects. This role requires French and English proficiency and a hybrid work model.

Quebec City, QC (Hybrid) Full-time
The senior UX/UI designer works within multidisciplinary teams (engineering, science, product and project management, etc.) and contributes to the design of solutions integrating artificial intelligence in complex and sometimes critical environments, both on exploratory innovation projects and on large-scale projects aimed at integrating new functionalities into new or existing Thales products.
This person plays a key role in simplifying complexity by relying on structured approaches (e.g., user research, modeling, experience mapping) to guide decisions towards high-value solutions.
Responsible for the entire UX/UI process, the person designs products aligned with user needs and business objectives, while applying best practices related to AI design. He/she designs human-AI interactions adapted to the context of use, which are both clear, effective and aligned with ethical principles as well as Thales standards.
Travel: Ability to travel within Canada and internationally.
This position requires a good knowledge of English for writing technical documents, to interact, support and/or provide services to international clients, employees and/or partners as well as foreign governmental authorities who do not speak French.
