What you’ll do here :
As a Behavioral Scientist, you will integrate behavioral science into our marketing strategies, optimizing for business and user outcomes. Reporting to the Manager, Behavioural Science, your main responsibilities are to :
- Leverage behavioural science concepts to achieve our business goals, identify new opportunities, and find innovative ways to deliver exceptional experiences.
- Apply behavioural science to all aspects of projects, including statistical testing, data modeling, and final report and presentations.
- Develop intervention strategies and produce tangible solutions in collaboration with other teams.
- Produce in-house behavioural models to help understand and influence customer behaviours.
- Execute user research, with a strong focus on quantitative methods, including randomized controlled trials.
- Apply statistical analysis and interpret data to generate actionable insights related to business outcomes, customer needs, and patterns of behaviour.
- Maintain deep familiarity with academic literature, emerging trends, and recent achievements in Behavioural Science to develop new hypotheses.
- Work closely with different teams (Design, Analytics, Data Lab) to produce recommendations and inform design solutions.
- Promote and infuse behavioural science across the organization.
What you bring to the table :
- Master’s or PhD strongly preferred in Psychology and its subdisciplines such as cognitive, organisational & industrial, or social psychology, in Behavioural Economics, Human Factors / Human Computer Interaction or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to communicate highly specialized information in an understandable manner.
- Expertise in quantitative research methods, including statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis using relevant tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, and Excel).
- Analytical, curious, and creative.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can provide and receive constructive feedback.
- Proactive, comfortable working within a self-directed culture and navigating ambiguity.
- An effective communicator, engaging presenter, and compelling storyteller.
- Comfortable interacting at different levels in the organization, from peers to senior management.
- No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
- For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
