Senior UX Designer

In this role as a Senior UX Designer you will leverage your experience to create, optimize, and manage all of Western’s online websites. You will be responsible for optimizing our online presence, ensuring top rankings on search engines, and driving significant traffic and lead generation. You will be hands-on, strategically setting up new pages, analyzing rankings, and ensuring our brand stays in the top 3 search results.

Here Is What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Developing strategies and tactics to increase Western’s organic and search engine outcomes, analyzing daily performance metrics and trends across SEO, User Experience, Consumer Behaviors, Growth and Sales results
  • Delivering strategies and techniques to grow user experience effectiveness through analysis of data from user satisfaction reports, surveys, complaints, etc.
  • Modelling, leading and communicating the Guiding Principles as the foundation and principal element of Western’s culture

The value you bring

  • 5+ years proven experience managing websites, ranking strategies, and SEO optimization.
  • Ability to evaluate website performance and drive measurable traffic increases
  • You have hands on experience that focuses on optimizing websites to enhance user experience, engagement, and conversions
  • Experience in web design with a focus on maintaining top search rankings in competitive industries.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven search trends and how AI can be leveraged to improve rankings and lead generation.
  • Previous work experience where they were responsible for ranking a company’s website
  • Hands-on experience using SEO and website performance tools, including SEMRush, Lucky Orange, Google Analytics, LUMAR, and Google Indexing

Hours: Full Time, Permanent - 37.5 hours / week

Location: Remote (AB)

Salary Range: 80,000 – 93,000
