Main Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust and scalable architecture solutions for Unreal projects.
  • Develop and integrate gameplay features, working closely with designers and artists.
  • Create and maintain tools and pipelines (level editors, animation tools, asset pre-processing / post-processing, etc.) to improve team efficiency.
  • Optimize and debug code to ensure game stability and performance on various platforms.
  • Ensure cross-platform compatibility and manage porting tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends related to Unreal Engine and game development.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in game programming, with a minimum of 7 years in Unreal Engine.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and Blueprints, with a solid understanding of software architecture and gameplay.
  • You see AI as an essential tool to push boundaries and focus on what matters : content, not container.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Willingness to work in various domains (architecture, gameplay, tools).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Perforce).
  • Experience in cross-platform development and porting (a strong asset).
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages (an asset).
  • Knowledge of C# programming and Unity (an asset).
