ATB Financial in Alberta is seeking a Real Estate Underwriter to structure and assess risk for commercial real estate and construction transactions across the province, collaborating with Relationship Managers to craft strategic credit solutions.
Reporting to the Real Estate Director, Central Underwriting, you will analyze market trends, borrower health, valuations and financials to deliver sound, forward-looking recommendations, while maintaining high-volume, high-quality underwriting.

As ATB’s next Real Estate Underwriter, you will thrive on underwriting complex real estate transactions and delivering meaningful client impact. In this role, you will structure and assess risk for commercial real estate and construction transactions across Alberta, collaborating with Relationship Managers to co-create strategic credit solutions. As a trusted leader and subject matter expert with a deep understanding of ATB's risk appetite, you will analyze market trends, property valuations, and borrower health to deliver sound, forward-looking credit recommendations.
You will report to the Real Estate Director, Central Underwriting.
