CNA Financial is seeking a Senior Underwriter in Toronto, Ontario. The role underwrites risks in the Programs specialization, working within authority limits for complex assignments and coordinating with brokers and policyholders.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and typically at least five years in underwriting. Base salary ranges from CAD 90,000 to CAD 120,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Under technical direction, the market facing Senior Underwriter is responsible for underwriting risks in a book of business within our Programs specialization. Works within specific limits of authority on assignments requiring significant technical complexity and coordination. Utilizes underwriting policies and guidelines, rating manual rules and insurance laws and regulations.
