Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Trust Officer in Wealth Management to manage day-to-day estates, trusts, and account administration for client, beneficiary, and Co-Trustee relationships. You will engage with Scotiabank's team to deliver total wealth strategies, while identifying opportunities and ensuring compliance with policies.

The role emphasizes proactive client service, relationship building, and navigating complex financial matters for high net worth clients across multiple BC locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of directly-related experience.
• Proven success in high net worth client relationship management.
• Membership or commitment to CSI and/or STEP.
• Proven ability to deliver proactive best in class client experience.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with estates, trusts, wills, and taxation matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide best in class, proactive client experience to high net worth clients and beneficiaries.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop acquisition strategies.
• Collaborate with Scotia Wealth Management team to deliver total wealth strategies.
