Job Description :

Our publicly traded mining client is a high profile organization in the downtown core. They are adding a Senior Treasury Analyst to the Finance team and looking for a few years of Treasury experience, ideally from the mining sector but open to others.

The Senior Treasury Analyst will be responsible for a wide spectrum of finance and treasury activities and be a valued member of a small Treasury team. Role will include :

  • Support day to day treasury operations, including liquidity monitoring, cash management, yield generation, and bank account and credit instrument administration.
  • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly treasury reporting, financial reporting, covenant reporting, and compliance with all our key debt facilities.
  • Participate and help execute precious metals purchases and sales, and hedging program with large financial institutions.
  • Support Assistant Treasurer in the management of relationships with all of our key treasury counterparties including banks, credit rating agencies, financing companies, and data providers.
  • Provide analysis to help guide global capital raising initiatives.
  • Perform financial modeling analysis to help drive decisions for diverse initiatives related to budget, accounting, M&A, and other special situations.
  • Help maintain and improve the development of global treasury policies and procedures and the implementation of treasury best practices.
  • Contribute to special projects in the Treasury function.
