Senior Treasury Analyst

Celestica's treasury team is seeking a dynamic individual for a senior analyst role. The analyst will support a broad range of treasury activities, initially focusing on foreign exchange risk management, interest rate risk management, and customer credit risk management. The Global Treasury team is transitioning to a model where each member handles all treasury matters for a group of subsidiaries, requiring familiarity with all treasury operations. The role will expand over time. We seek a candidate with an open mind, willingness to learn, strong passion for finance, and solid financial modeling and analytical skills.

Responsibilities may include:

• FX trade execution
• Maintain and improve models for balance sheet and cash flow foreign currency hedging programs
• Real-time analysis of hedging performance to identify improvements
• Prepare monthly marked-to-market summaries, foreign exchange rate files, and other reports
• Manage customer credit and recommend remediation strategies
• Pension fund management, including analysis and reconciliations
• Support capital leasing activities
• Support equity and share-based compensation analysis
• Monitor debt/swap portfolios and external reporting
• Collaborate with cash management for global liquidity
• Coordinate with legal, reporting, and tax teams
• Support audit and compliance processes
• Perform ad-hoc forecasting and analysis
• Review and improve processes and policies

Knowledge and Skills:

• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or related field
• Professional designation (CFA, CTP, or CPA) preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience in treasury or finance roles
• Experience with Bloomberg, FX trading platforms, and treasury management systems is an asset
• Quick learner of new processes and systems
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
