Job summary

K-Line Group of Companies is seeking a Construction Manager – Transmission to lead high‑voltage transmission projects across Western Canada. You will provide field leadership, planning, resource coordination, and technical direction to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Foreperson, subcontractors, suppliers, client representatives, and internal teams to resolve field issues, support constructability, manage change,

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of Construction Management experience within high voltage Transmission.
• Post-secondary education in a related technical field.
• Red Seal Certified Trade is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary construction point of contact for Foreperson, trades, subcontractors, and field leadership.
• Escalate field-related issues, risks, constraints, and conflicts.
• Ensure activities align with contract scope, drawings, schedule, and safety requirements.
• Support safety, schedule performance, cost control, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Identify and communicate changes, urgency, impact, and follow-up actions.
• Oversee subcontractor safety and compliance with contracts and quality requirements.
• Track field data for change orders including labour, equipment, and materials.
• Plan resources, including labour, supervision, equipment, tools, and services.
• Manage punch lists, deficiencies, turnover items, and closeout with the customer.
• Provide field input during estimating, bid reviews, and project handoff.
