What is the opportunity?

The Senior Trade Administrator is responsible for reviewing and challenging risk and control activities to ensure business units comply with the internal risk and control framework. As a key member of the Transaction Management Team, you will support the delivery of Private Placement and change initiatives for Transaction Management Canada. The role involves ensuring cost effectiveness, operational and administrative efficiency, and compliance with industry-wide conventions, rules, and regulations. This opportunity is suitable for individuals passionate about problem-solving, possessing strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and enjoying teamwork.

What will you do?

  • Act as liaison for the trading desk on trade or settlement-related issues.
  • Monitor and ensure timely trade bookings and matching to minimize trading, operational, and settlement risks.
  • Perform real-time reconciliation of submitted trades.
  • Encourage accurate reporting, assist with problem resolution, and track metrics.
  • Monitor and resolve error queues to ensure proper trade flow to the domestic platform.
  • Create and maintain analytical reports for trading desk, risk management, and compliance.
  • Perform UAT testing for new products and trade flows as needed.
  • Manage and oversee all Private Placement trade support functions.
  • Implement effective controls and planning with positive outcomes for the Transaction Management Transformation Team, including status and metrics reporting for visibility and transparency.
  • Execute communication plans that meet project and stakeholder needs.
  • Ensure effective management of controls, processes, policies, and procedures.
