CoolIT Systems, an Ecolab company, is seeking a Senior Thermal Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced liquid cooling systems for AI, data centers, and high-performance computing. You will drive prototyping, testing, and validation, applying fluid dynamics and heat transfer expertise to ensure performance and reliability.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of thermal and mechanical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, FMEA, and manufacturing processes.
• Hands‑on experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Experience leading technical projects and collaborating across cross‑functional teams.

Position Details

• Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid)
• Schedule: Full‑time, standard business hours
• Travel: Occasional travel as required

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of thermal and mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and cooling system design.
• Experience designing products and components for manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, FMEA, and manufacturing processes.
• Hands‑on experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Experience leading technical projects and collaborating across cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• P.Eng. designation or equivalent professional engineering credential.
• Experience in liquid cooling, thermal management, automotive, or related industries.
• Experience using simulation tools such as CFD and FEA.
• Experience engaging with customers, industry groups, or technical standards organizations.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical development initiatives.
• Physical Requirements of Position
• Ability to work in office, laboratory, and manufacturing environments.
• Occasional handling of prototypes, test equipment, and engineering assemblies.
