We're looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer (Data Testing Specialist) to join our Digital Applications, Quality Engineering team, based in our Newmarket office. This is a specialist role for someone who thrives on validating complex data systems, enabling high data integrity and performance across platforms. In this role, you'll design and implement cutting-edge test automation frameworks, integrating seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines. You'll be a key contributor in ensuring the quality of data flowing through modern cloud technologies like Azure, AWS, Snowflake, and Redshift—with a particular focus on Azure Data Factory orchestration.

We're looking for a technically strong and collaborative individual with a proactive mindset and deep experience in automated data testing. You're someone who's as comfortable mentoring junior QA engineers as you are writing complex SQL queries.

You will ideally bring:

• 5+ years in test automation, with 2+ years focused on data testing
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, and Snowflake
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and TypeScript
• Experience with automation tools such as DBT, Playwright (TS), and Selenium/Java
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data governance
• Proven experience with AWS and Azure platforms
• Hands-on knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure Data Factory
• Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools for data pipelines
• Background in data analytics or data science is a plus
