Job summary

Richmond Country Club in Richmond, BC, seeks a Senior Tennis Professional to lead programs, development and member experience year-round, in partnership with the Director of Racquets. You will grow junior pathways and adult programming, and help run events.

The ideal candidate holds a CP2 certification, 3+ years of coaching, a strong playing background, and excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills. This is a hands-on role with growth potential within RCC Tennis.

Qualifications

  • CP2 Certification required; 3+ years coaching experience; 4.5+ playing level preferred
  • First Aid & CPR Certification required; criminal record check.
  • Professional liability insurance through TPA or equivalent; strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with RCC members and create a welcoming environment
  • Promote programs, leagues, tournaments, events and social opportunities
  • Lead U12 Junior Development Programs and High Performance pathways; deliver junior/group/private lessons and camps
  • Deliver high-quality adult clinics and private/semi-private lessons; support leagues and social tennis
  • Assist with planning and execution of RCC tournaments, events and draws
  • Collaborate with Director of Racquets to develop the tennis calendar and department growth
  • Provide leadership and develop consistent coaching standards across the team
