  • Operate tractor-trailers and move trailers in and out of loading docks.
  • Operate forklifts for loading and unloading trailers, including using rotator attachments to dump waste into open-top and compactor bins.
  • Drive 5-ton straight trucks for waste pickups.
  • Sort waste manually to separate recyclable materials, which may involve heavy lifting and dismantling equipment with power tools.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including sweeping floors, organizing equipment, and cleaning spills.
  • Handle hazardous wastes following proper procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Load and unload drums onto trailers by hand, stacking drums up to three high.
  • Participate in waste audits as required.
  • Work overtime as needed to meet customer production schedules.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing PPE, using equipment safely, and participating in safety training.
