Overview

Join our Technical Writing team! Our Technical Writing team is responsible for creating customer-facing content for users, builders, and developers working with Akamai's products and platforms. Writers create comprehensive workflows and detailed reference documentation that guide customers in leveraging a product's features and capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Writing comprehensive documentation for Akamai Cloud products focused on AI use cases.
• Developing documentation for using APIs, CLIs, and SDKs for model deployment, inferencing, and agentic workflows.
• Creating how-to guides covering reference architectures, deployment, configuration, monitoring, and scaling on Akamai\'s cloud platform.
• Developing cloud infrastructure guides for AI workloads, including containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), serverless deployments, GPU optimization and cost management strategies.
• Understanding the fast-moving AI landscape and working with teams to scope and deliver documentation for evolving technologies.
• Following Akamai\'s technical communications guidelines and helping establish new standards specific to AI and the cloud as needed.

Qualifications

• Have 5 years of experience and a Bachelor\'s Degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, or its equivalent.
• Have experience writing for a technical audience using a doc-as-code workflow in cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, or software development.
• Feature solution guides and AI use case tutorials in your writing samples that show real-world implementation scenarios.
• Understand AI concepts and can translate complex AI workflows into clear, actionable documentation for technical users.
• Have hands-on experience with cloud platforms and can document infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and cloud-native AI services.
• Possess excellent communication and writing skills in English.
