Job summary

Cerence Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Solution Architect for Industrial AI to lead end-to-end architectures linking voice, AI, digital twin tech, and frontline workers in manufacturing settings. You will align OT/IT ecosystems with enterprise systems and drive scalable Industry 4.0 implementations.

You will define edge and cloud deployment strategies for SLMs, engage with customers and partners, and guide cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and field deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Solution Architecture, Industrial AI, IIoT, Digital Twins, or Smart Manufacturing.
• Experience designing solutions connecting frontline workers, processes, assets and enterprise systems.
• Proven experience with Digital Twin platforms such as NVIDIA Omniverse, NVIDIA Industrial Digital Twins, Azure Digital Twins, Siemens Digital Twin ecosystems, or similar.
• Experience deploying and integrating Small Language Models (SLMs) in edge and industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of OPC UA, MQTT, PLC, SCADA, and OT/IT convergence.
• Experience integrating MES, ERP, PLM, WMS, CMMS, and enterprise manufacturing systems.
