Are you the person we’re looking for?

As a Senior Technical Sales Consultant, you will leverage your technical expertise and knowledge of BlackBerry AtHoc Critical Event Management (CEM) Software & Services. You will articulate and evangelize AtHoc’s value proposition to our global customers, driving adoption across Government, Security, Commercial, Healthcare, and Education sectors by working with customers and partners as the technical expert for AtHoc. Collaborating closely with the sales team, you should be highly credible in complex technical discussions with customers and partners.

In this role, you will :

  • Engage with top customers, demonstrating the value of BlackBerry AtHoc Critical Event Management.
  • Respond to bids, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, and manage Proof of Concept (POC) activities from start to finish.
  • Perform product demonstrations and presentations remotely and on-site.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for BlackBerry AtHoc solutions to named accounts, prospects, and partners in pre-sales and post-sales capacities.
  • Represent BlackBerry AtHoc at industry events as a product expert and speaker.
  • Ensure effective cross-functional engagement from pre-sales to post-sales.
  • Refine and research technical requirements for each sales opportunity, collaborating with internal teams, customers, and partners in design and implementation.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop account plans, ensuring long-term customer influence and sales success.
  • Track account activity throughout the sales process accurately.
  • Identify applications, tools, and resources to maximize solution value for customers.
  • Support the development and maintenance of technical labs for demonstrations and training.
  • Lead the technical support escalation process for your customers.
  • Engage with product management for feedback and innovation reporting.
  • Travel as needed to meet with customers within your territory (up to 60%).

You will have :

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the value of Critical Event Management solutions for various use cases.
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in B2B solution sales engineering within enterprise software.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft systems, including SQL, IIS, and Windows Server OS.
  • Experience with technical presales, software platform support, or end-to-end IT solution implementation.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent time management, project planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in both English and French (reading, writing, speaking).

A bonus would be broad knowledge of Critical Event Management or physical security systems, but it is not mandatory. Our Sales Enablement team will provide training and resources to set you up for success.
