Job summary

Centricity Research in the GTA is seeking two casual Registered Nurses to support our site activities across Etobicoke, Toronto, and Brampton. You will provide clinical care for ongoing studies, focusing on safe IP handling and administration, while coordinating with Investigators and the clinical team. This flexible role welcomes new graduates and requires an active Ontario RN license.

ACLS is preferred. Onsite availability is required, with occasional remote IP QC support when study needs

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Ontario RN license.
• Proficient in medication preparation and intramuscular injections.
• Strong clinical skills including phlebotomy and IV placement.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• New graduates welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety, well-being, and positive experience of all study participants.
• Conduct study activities per protocols, GCP, SOPs, and local privacy regulations.
• Maintain understanding of study protocols to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
• Perform nursing procedures including phlebotomy, IV placement, medication preparation, infusions, and injections.
• Prepare investigational product (IP) per protocol and Pharmacy Manual guidelines.
• Accurately dispense, track, and inventory IP and study supplies.
• Adhere to blinding requirements and handle blinded materials correctly.
• Support study visits by completing delegated clinical and administrative tasks.
• Document source data, CRFs, queries, and CTMS updates.
• Maintain Investigator Site Files and other required study documentation.
• Communicate with Investigators, research staff, and stakeholders about study questions.
• Build professional relationships with participants, physicians, sponsors, and vendors.
• Support additional research activities as needed.

About the role

We are looking for two casual Registered Nurses (RNs) to support our Centricity Research team across our Greater Toronto Area (GTA) sites: Etobicoke, Toronto, and Brampton. Candidates should be available to provide onsite support at our GTA locations. When unable to attend onsite, they may provide remote support for investigational product (IP) quality control (QC), based on study and operational needs. In this role, you\'ll provide clinical support for ongoing studies, with a strong focus on the safe preparation, handling, and administration of investigational products (IP). New graduates are welcome to apply!

You\'ll work closely with Investigators and the clinical research team to ensure study activities are conducted safely, accurately, and in compliance with protocol and regulatory requirements. This is a flexible, hands‑on role ideal for nurses who enjoy working in a dynamic research environment and contributing to high‑quality patient care.

What you\'ll do

You Might Be a Great Fit If You:

• You are a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unencumbered license in Ontario.
• You are proficient in medication preparation and intramuscular injections.
• You have strong clinical skills, including phlebotomy and IV placement.
• Experience in acute care or clinical research is an asset (Phase I–IV experience is a plus), but is not required. New graduates are welcome to apply.
• You hold an active ACLS certification (preferred).
• You are detail‑oriented and committed to patient safety and protocol compliance.
• You are comfortable working in a fast‑paced, flexible, and team‑oriented environment.
• You communicate clearly and professionally with patients and clinical teams.
• You are available on a casual, as‑needed basis for onsite support at our GTA sites, or remote IP QC support when unable to attend onsite.
