SENIOR TECHNICAL DESIGNER
Reports to: Technical Design Director
Permanent – Full-Time
What you will do
- Plan, design, and develop tools and pipelines for content creation, production support, and product debugging.
- Act as an ambassador by becoming a power user of these tools & processes.
- Use visual scripting language such as Blueprint.
- Streamline workflows and simplify tools for designers to act as a complexity gatekeeper.
- Build a knowledge base by providing information, training, and mentoring materials for production teams.
- Provide quick and efficient solutions for day-to-day editor problems and content creation obstacles.
- Collaborate with designers to help realize their creative visions on-screen.
- Manage the authoring and integration pipeline for technical game data such as streaming, multiplayer, and persistence.
- Profile, review, and optimize game data and scripts.
What you bring
- Advocate for content creation development technology and solutions.
- 6+ years of experience in the video game industry in Technical Design or Technical Level Design.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C++.
- Experience with visual scripting tools like Unreal Blueprint and Unity Bolt.
- Focus on optimization and performance (properties, functions, graphs, objects).
- Experience with technical writing and documentation.
- Strong skills in reverse engineering and debugging complex problems and systems.
- Organized, structured, thorough, and conscientious.
- Strong written and spoken proficiency in French and English.

- Experience with various game scales, such as open-world and indie projects.
