Senior Technical Business and AI Analyst

Responsibilities

What would I be doing?

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and map existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in the implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions that streamline operations and address client challenges, while ensuring the continuity of business operations.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Work closely with internal teams, clients, and leadership to ensure recommendations are practical, impactful, and achievable.
• Plan for and mitigate operational risks associated with the implementation of Heitech Software’s recommendations ensuring the client plans for and is aware of any potential disruption to its operations.
• Be a catalyst for change, helping businesses modernize their systems, adopt innovative technologies, and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and present solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during the testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian business regulations and standards.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to all stakeholders.

What are we looking for in our ideal candidate?

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on business process improvement.
• Proven experience working with large and high-profile clients on a variety of business transformation projects
• Strong understanding of business practices, regulations, and market dynamics.
• Exceptional understanding and experience implementing AI solutions within businesses
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience with business process modeling and data analysis for large and complex clients.

Are there bonus points?

• Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) and/or project management (e.g., PMP).
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt – for process optimization

Other Important Details

This is a permanent full-time position; however qualified independent contractors are welcome to apply. We would like the right candidate to start as soon as possible. We offer competitive compensation, vacation and flexible work arrangements. There will be an initial ramp up of hours to a 40-hour work week. The salary range for the position is $60-80/hour. To collaborate and support Heitech Software Solutions’ culture, the majority of the work will be performed onsite however there is the opportunity to work remotely based on organizational, client and project needs.
