Location Address: Hybrid - Scarborough – Mostly remote, may need to come in on ad-hoc basis for workshops/meetings; open to fully remote candidates who would be willing to relocate if offered FTE
Contract Duration: 6 months (Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE)
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week - There may be occasions where the candidate is required to work later shifts that extend beyond 5pm. However, the total duration of work will remain 7.5 hours
Story Behind the Need
- Business group: GTEP - Global Platform Engineering - bank’s Global Technology & Enterprise Platforms (GTEP) is a key technology division of bank, providing critical infrastructure solutions and support to the bank globally and employing approximately 2000 full-time employees and contractors across 15 countries.
Project:
- To replace legacy critical mainframe application that is approaching end of life (OTS platform) with a new best in class solution from a vendor and migrate all data to it. With this new tool the offshore trust functions across the Caribbean will be realized:
- A common digital platform to provide trust, corporate and entity management services
- Increase efficiencies and reduce costs through automation of key operational, compliance and regulatory processes
- Enhanced data quality and establishing ‘single source of truth’ for accurate information and reporting.
- Enhanced client experience through digital engagement, a secure client portal to provide access to their information.
Typical Day in Role:
- The team is seeking a Technical Analyst, and the primary purpose of this role is to play the role of an SME in deploying the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central application to support the business.
- In scope includes planning, design, creating Power Platform environment, including DLP policies, connectors, etc. Deploying and configuring MS Dynamics 365.
- Responsible for the creation of test plan, test strategy, manual and automated testing.
- System Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize Dynamics 365 applications to meet business requirements, including workflows, forms, and dashboards.
- Integration Management: Manage integrations between Dynamics 365 and other systems using Power Platform tools like Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Data Management: Oversee data migration, data integrity, and data quality within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.
- Security Administration: Implement and manage security roles, user permissions, and data access controls within Dynamics 365.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications.
- User Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools.
- System Upgrades and Maintenance: Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks to keep Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications up-to-date.
- Automation and Workflow Development: Develop and maintain automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate.
- Reporting and Analytics: Create and manage reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide insights into business operations and performance.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards, and maintain thorough documentation of system configurations and processes.
- Provide consultation for Power Platform and MS Dynamics
Must Have Skills:
- 10+ years of working experience as a Technical Analyst
- 5+ years of technical working experience with the following (ideally have all, if not at least 2, listed in order of prefence): Power Platform (1), MS Dynamics (2), Entra ID (3), and Microsoft DevOps (4)
- 3-5+ years of technical working experience with troubleshooting Microsoft technologies, including Azure
- 2-3+ years of writing technical documentation, and the development and implementation of test plans and test scripts; as well as document server changes
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Technical certification in Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 services
Education:
Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related IT field required.
