What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide oversight and mentorship to field teams and report writers to ensure regulatory compliance, technical integrity, and field readiness.
- Lead project planning, field execution, and reporting workflows—especially for complex, high-profile, or regulatory-sensitive sites.
- Coordinate logistics, delegate work plans, and ensure safe and efficient delivery of services across project teams.
- Support QA/QC of reporting deliverables and provide senior review before client submission.
- Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to manage expectations, resolve challenges, and align deliverables with client objectives.
- Implement safety protocols and proactively manage escalations or field-level incidents.
- Drive continuous improvement through coaching, training, and the integration of tools, templates, and SOP updates.
- Travel occasionally to site locations to conduct supervision, mentorship, or inspections as needed.

What You Bring
- 7+ years of experience in environmental consulting, with a mix of fieldwork, technical reporting, and client-facing leadership.
- Strong background in environmental site assessments (Phase I and II), remediation, or reclamation.
- Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and manage field logistics under tight timelines and complex conditions.
- Skilled in QA/QC, regulatory compliance, and senior review of technical deliverables.
- Exceptional communication and coordination skills—comfortable working across departments and with diverse stakeholders.
- Field-ready mindset with a strong understanding of Alberta OHS regulations and client-specific protocols.
- Capable of maintaining calm under pressure and navigating challenging site conditions or client escalations.
