Canada Life is seeking a Senior Technical Lead for the Individual Wealth Technology team. You will guide a cross-functional group of developers, engineers and QA professionals to deliver and modernize Wealth Dealership technology solutions.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic direction to ensure reliability, security and business alignment. The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of tech experience, 3–5 years in leadership, and a deep understanding of wealth products in

Qualifications

Experience in Wealth businesses and systems in the Canadian market.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
7–10 years of technology experience with 3–5 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

Lead design, delivery, support, and improvement of Wealth Dealership technology solutions.
Provide technical guidance to developers, engineers and QA to ensure scalability, security and quality.
Partner with architects, business leaders and product stakeholders to align tech delivery with business goals.
Oversee projects, vendor implementations, and strategic initiatives; monitor health, security and performance.
Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
Contribute to budgeting and financial view of application support and maintenance.
