Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs invites a talented Hardware Design Engineer with expertise in TDR equipment to join our R&D team. You will design high-speed analog front ends, pulse generation circuits, and signal conditioning, and collaborate with firmware engineers on DSP algorithms for sub-nanosecond resolution.

The role covers prototyping, DVT, EMC validation, documentation, and transfer to production. You will work with IEC 61010/61000 and ISO 9001 standards, contributing to patents and publications as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in analog/mixed-signal hardware design for instrumentation.
• Proficient in PCB design with high-speed, low-noise requirements.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity and impedance matching.
• Experience with TDR, OTDR, or reflectometry-based instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop TDR hardware including pulse generation and high-speed analog front ends.
• Design PCBs for high-frequency TDR use with Altium/Cadence.
• Collaborate with firmware engineers on DSP algorithms for waveform acquisition.
• Prototype, test, and validate hardware across temperature and load conditions.
• Support EMC/EMI certification and production transfer.
