Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager for a Northern Ontario CPA firm. This remote-first role covers Ontario-wide tax planning and advisory work with occasional travel to the Sudbury office.

The focus is on complex private company tax matters, including reorganizations and estate planning. Required CPA designation and several years of Canadian tax planning experience; CPA In-Depth Tax Program or equivalent advanced training is expected.

Qualifications

• CPA designation and advanced tax training required.
• Significant Canadian tax planning experience.
• Strong ability to advise private companies and owner-managed businesses.
• Excellent technical judgment and communication skills.
• Public accounting background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sophisticated Canadian tax planning and advisory engagements.
• Limited compliance tasks; no heavy business development expectations.
