About the Opportunity
As aSenior Tax Manager, you’ll work closely with Partners and clients to deliver high-quality tax planning and compliance services. This role will suit a technically strong tax professional with a proven track record in public practice and an interest in guiding a team while driving client success.

This position can be based in either the firm’s downtown Vancouver or Langley office, with hybrid flexibility after the onboarding period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee tax planning and compliance engagements for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals
  • Conduct research and draft technical memoranda, opinion letters, and client communications
  • Identify and implement tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes
  • Review complex tax returns and ensure compliance with current tax laws and standards
  • Advise clients on corporate reorganizations, succession planning, and other specialized tax matters
  • Stay current with new tax legislation, trends, and case law developments
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor staff to support professional growth and knowledge development

The Requirements:

  • CPA designation (completed)
  • Completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Program (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 6–8 years of tax experience in public practice, including at least 1 year at the manager level
  • Strong technical background in Canadian corporate and personal tax
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and build strong client relationships
  • Cross-border tax experience (inbound/outbound, T1134/T1135, etc.) considered an asset
