Our client, located in Toronto, is a well-established organization in the financial services sector. They are seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join their team. This role involves overseeing full-cycle accounting and managing a broad range of tax filings for multiple entities, including those with complex investment structures such as real estate, financial instruments, trusts, and limited partnerships.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Preparing and filing T1, T2, T3, T4, and T5 tax returns accurately and timely.
  • Managing full-cycle accounting and ensuring accuracy across multiple entities.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations and standards.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of tax and accounting strategies.
  • Proactively identifying potential tax risks and proposing solutions.
  • Analyzing investment performance and presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Liaising with internal teams and external partners for timely reporting.
  • Staying updated with current tax legislation and standards.
Qualifications:
  • CPA or in final stages (passed CFE).
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or tax.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Income Tax Act.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
