A leading financial services provider located in Toronto is seeking a Tax Compliance Specialist for their Canadian Investment Fund Taxation team. The successful candidate will support fund distributions, review tax returns, and ensure compliance reporting to authorities. Ideal candidates should have a CPA designation and a passion for process improvement. The position offers hybrid work arrangements and a salary range of $71,925 to $119,875 CAD.
The Canadian Investment Fund Taxation team is responsible for the income tax compliance for all Manulife Canadian investment funds, including mutual funds (including ETFs), institutional pooled funds and private market partnership funds. We also provide tax advisory services to the business on any fund initiatives, including new fund launches, fund mergers and terminations, and structured products. The key accountability of this role is to ensure timely and accurate compliance reporting to the tax authorities. This role provides the opportunity to gain knowledge and grow in experience within Canadian Investment Fund Taxation.
