Job summary

Canem Systems Ltd. is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist based at our Mississauga office. You will lead full cycle recruitment for salaried roles, building robust candidate pipelines and delivering a positive candidate experience.

You will partner with the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to implement talent strategies, source top talent, and track recruitment metrics across Canada’s markets. This role focuses on strategic staffing and collaboration with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute full cycle recruitment for salaried hires in line with the talent acquisition policies, procedures, standards, and salaried workflows.
• Lead the talent acquisition process and create a consistent and positive experience for the candidate and hiring team.
• Liaise with the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to support the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies and candidate marketing programs.
• Execute strategic programs to identify and attract talent.
• Track talent acquisition metrics defined by the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to monitor talent acquisition trends and determine potential improvements.
• Actively source candidates and build candidate pipelines.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition for Western Canada, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the full cycle recruitment of salaried hires supporting our Canem Systems division.

This position will be based out the Canem Systems Mississauga office, 5630 Tomken Road

Salaried Roles

• Execute full cycle recruitment for salaried hires in line with the talent acquisition policies, procedures, standards, and salaried workflows.
• Lead the talent acquisition process and create a consistent and positive experience for the candidate and hiring team.
• Liaise with the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to support the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies and candidate marketing programs.
• Execute strategic programs to identify and attract talent.
• Track talent acquisition metrics defined by the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to monitor talent acquisition trends and determine potential improvements.
• Actively source candidates and build candidate pipelines.

Relationships

• Establish strong internal relationships within the business, People & Culture and front-line leadership.
• Act as the talent acquisition ambassador for the organization and establish a strong external network and partnerships with agencies, associations, and universities.

Administration

• Maintain complete and accurate staffing documentation as required by law within the HRIS system (Workday)
• Participate in planning meetings with the business to stay current on upcoming projects and resource requirements.
• Manage general employment inquiries.

Strategic & Business Planning

• Support the execution of national employment brand activities for Canem Systems as an employer of choice.
• Other duties as directed by the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition.
