• Test Plan: Develop comprehensive test plans outlining the testing approach, scope, objectives, and resources required for data migration quality assurance.
• Test Cases: Create detailed test cases and scripts covering all aspects of data migration, including extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.
• Test Data: Prepare realistic test data sets that cover various scenarios and edge cases.
• Test Execution: Perform testing as per the plan, documenting issues or discrepancies encountered.
• Defect Reports: Report and track defects, clearly documenting steps to reproduce issues.
• Regression Testing: Ensure existing functionalities in Dynamics 365 CRM are unaffected post-migration.
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance assessments to verify system stability during migration, if applicable.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test cases, results, and modifications.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in data migration projects within a QA role, particularly involving Azure Cloud and Dynamics 365 CRM.
• Knowledge of integration technologies like DataVerse / CDS, Data Entities, and APIs.
• Understanding of data quality management, profiling, validation, and error handling.
• Strong SQL skills, experience with Azure SQL Databases and Dataverse, and understanding of data structures and quality principles.
• Familiarity with version control (Azure Repos) and collaboration tools (Azure DevOps).
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop corresponding test cases.
