Job description

Our client is responsible for the administration and issuance of authorizations (permits, agreements, and conditional exemptions) under the Endangered Species Act (ESA).

Through this procurement, the client seeks to secure the resources needed to develop and implement enhancements to the existing Salesforce Public Sector foundation solution, supporting modernization of ESA authorization service delivery.

The project aims to modernize how authorization applications are received, reviewed, processed, and approved under the ESA by implementing a new ESA Authorization Management System built on Salesforce Public Sector Foundation (License and Permits Management).

Job Responsibilities :

• The Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist advises on testing strategies, plans, tool selection, and resource identification for large GUI and non-GUI systems testing, including integration, stress, and user acceptance testing.
• Responsible for developing and executing test plans, scripts, and cases across various system components.
• Collaborates with testing leads, IT leads, and project teams during analysis, design, development, implementation, and support phases.

Must Haves :

• Experience in Salesforce Public Sector Foundation (License and Permit) testing
• Proficiency with Salesforce, DevOps, Microsoft tools (Visio, Project), and Miro boards
• Knowledge of Ontario Digital Service Standards, Service Design Playbook, and Digital First Assessment approach
• Understanding of digital product development, implementation, and management
• Experience in developing test scripts, user stories, and usability testing
• Experience conducting iterative analysis, UAT, AODA, and vulnerability testing
• Ability to lead and coordinate testing teams

Knowledge Transfer :

• Regular meetings and sessions for knowledge transfer with LRC staff
• Complete documentation transfer to the ministry
• Scheduled knowledge transfer sessions during project close-out for clarification and follow-up

Evaluation Criteria :

Manual Testing Skills / Experience :

• QA analysis experience
• Development of test cases, scripts, and data requirements
• Experience with Salesforce iterative testing and technical testing strategies
• Execution of various testing types including integration, unit, regression, functional, accessibility, non-functional, and vulnerability testing
• Experience in defect documentation and resolution tracking
• Leading UAT sessions and hands-on Salesforce UI/backend testing

Soft Skills :

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience reporting progress, raising risks/issues, and managing change requests

Agile Experience :

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies

• Functional and UAT testing in Salesforce

Public Sector Experience :
